Correlation with Bitcoin Cash

Correlation with Bitcoin CashHi All! I understand that Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are separate assets. Bitcoin Cash is a completely different currency that Bitcoin. Now, I don’t want to get into a discussion about which one of the two is the real Bitcoin. My question is - how come two separate assets ( Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash) from the same category (crypto currencies) can have such strong positive correlation? When we look at the current dip their graphs are identical. One would think that the primary driver in this asset category is supply and demand, and although I can understand both of them losing and gaining value depending whether people believe in crypto, I cannot understand how two separate assets with their supporters having major disagreements about technology and solutions, have such strong positive correlation. Can someone please explain?Edit: grammar via /r/Bitcoin https://ift.tt/2H1dCGA
